Thermal insulation construction scheme of ceramic fiber modular cover furnace and high temperature well furnace

Ceramic fiber module is a new type of fire-resistant lining product launched to improve the integrity of furnace lining. Its color is white. The corresponding material is ceramic fiber needled blanket, which is processed on special machinery according to the structure and size of fiber components. During the processing, a certain proportion of compression is maintained to ensure that after the wall lining of the ceramic fiber module is built, the ceramic fiber modules are extruded into a seamless whole due to the expansion of each ceramic fiber module in the same direction. The ceramic fiber modules can be directly fixed on the steel plate of the industrial kiln shell through various forms of anchors.


The correct installation steps of ceramic fiber module are:


1. Derusting of furnace wall steel plate.


2. Scribe on the furnace wall steel plate according to the module size.


3. Weld the module bolts to the furnace wall plate.


4. Lay a tile blanket on the furnace wall plate (two layers of staggered splicing).


5. Take out the module and screw the guide rod to the small head of the bolt through the center hole of the module.


6. Press the module towards the furnace plate.


7. Screw the nut onto the bolt with a special wrench.


8. Unscrew guide rod.


9. Install other modules in sequence.


10. Pull out the module center plastic pipe.


11. Fill the middle gap with ceramic fiber blanket.


12. Remove the module strap.


13. Flatten and compress the laid compensation blanket.


14. Install the next row of modules.


The heating hood of the bell type furnace is a cylindrical structure, lined with refractory materials. The flame furnace is usually equipped with 2 or 3 rows of burners along the tangent line at the lower part of the heating hood. The production cycle of the full nitrogen strong convection hood furnace is 42h, the heating time is 22h, the heating hood works periodically, and is frequently subjected to the thermal shock of heating cooling and the mechanical shock of frequent lifting, which requires that the refractory materials have good characteristics of rapid cooling and heating resistance, mechanical vibration resistance, good thermal insulation, high heat sensitivity, high temperature resistance, light weight, etc.


Each performance of ceramic fiber module meets the requirements, but its resistance to mechanical vibration and air scour is limited. Therefore, it is suitable for the upper part of the bell type furnace, and the lower part is made of refractory fiber composite precast bricks.


The thermal insulation structure of the ceramic fiber module is: the tile blanket is combined with the ceramic fiber module, the compensation strip is placed in the non expansion direction of the module, and the heat-resistant steel anchor is embedded in the ceramic fiber module, which does not directly contact the flame and has no thermal short circuit. Its structure is scientific and reasonable, the anchor is firm, has strong thermal shock resistance and mechanical vibration resistance, has remarkable energy-saving effect, and is convenient and fast for construction, with satisfactory effect.
